Here's an update on my Sew for Victory 1940s repro blouse from Simplicity pattern 3688 based on a pattern from 1940 or 1941, I think.
All the fabric has been ironed.
The pattern pieces have been cut.
Pattern pieces pinned.
I made sure to use my Grama's specialty fabric scissors. Yes, they are vintage.
All pieces are cut and ready to be joined together.
Until next time...

Looking good so far! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Rochelle!
DeleteExciting! Can't wait to see more!
ReplyDelete:D Me too, LOL! I can't wait to see it finished.
DeleteLooks like you're off to a great start! It's always so much more fun to sew when you get to use things like vintage scissors and other such implements. And I forgot to mention last time how pretty the fabric you're using is!
ReplyDeleteI think so. Everything is going smoothly so far. Thank you, it's scrap material left over from a previous project. A simple green calico. That way I don't have to worry about matching stripes or a certain print.
DeleteThose old scissors are always great to use. Hope you're having fun!
ReplyDeleteI know! Every time I have to cut some fabric, I run to them...just not with them. LOL!
