Surprises Surprises

Surprisingly my novel is almost complete. Even before my own set deadline. I'm rather shocked. That my first completed piece will be a novel and not a novella. I mean most of my writer friends have all at one point completed a full novel, but I never have. This is really big for me! I never thought I'd have enough words for it to even be a novella, but the other day while I was babysitting, I decided to count up the word count on "The Other Sister" and I have well over 78,000 and I needed 75,000 to have a novel.

I'm pretty proud of myself that I was able to do this. No "The Other Sister" won't be 400 pages long, more like between 250-300 and it won't be anything astounding, but it will be finished! And I'm going to try and make a comeback to my xanga site as well. I dunno how well that'll go, but I'm so close to finally finishing something I want to share the news with my xanga and blogger friends as everything progresses.

Oh and I will be starting "Sacrifices of the Heart" soon. Hopefully by March I'll be working on the first draft. I have almost 100 kb in dialog written up for the novel and I'm not finished writing, I need to add some scenes to finish it out. Most likely SOTH will be longer than TOS. I don't care, I actually like SOTH better than TOS anyway.

More to come...take care all of you and God Bless

  1. Good for you, Sean. Something profound happens when you write "The End".
